I'm sure Joe can help suggest a transport company and perhaps enough interested Checker owners from California could get together and go to a rally we could not otherwise attend. Could you ask anyone who is interested to contact me? If we can fill a trailer this might be feasible. Owner claims it runs/drives (and it looks like it was driven there). He also said that it's got the Corvette LT-1 engine in it, as there was a shortage of 350's that year. Perhaps someone in the know can weigh in on if this is true or not. There is some pretty serious body rot. The rear curved glass and rear door glass are whole and clear.
